Festool offers a variety of saw blades for their miter & track saws. Each saw blade is designed for optimum performance with a particular saw and material. The quality and ease of cut is determined by several factors - saw type, blade speed, material, tooth pattern and number of teeth. Festool blades are made in Germany.

Tooth Shapes

Alternate Top Bevel (ATB) Most wood cutting blades are ATB. Every other tooth on the blade is beveled to the left or right. The sharp top edge slices cleanly into the material - reducing tearout.

Alternate Top Bevel with Raker ATB with raker adds a chipper tooth in between the alternate bevelled teeth to clear the wood chips.

Triple Chip Triple chip blades are used for cutting hard, difficult materials. They have two types of teeth that alternate: a trapezoidal tooth which is beveled on each side and a flat tooth.

Flat Tooth with Chamfer (F-FA) F-FA blades are used for cutting hard, difficult materials. They have flat teeth with variable chamfers for consistent quality and a long service life.

Flat Top Flat top blades are used for cutting uniform materials that don't require the slicing cut of an ATB.

Material & Speed

All Festool saws have variable speed so you can match the blade speed to the material and cut. Festool blades are color-coded for the recommended material.

  • Yellow for wood and plastics - Speed 3-6
  • Red for plastics - Speed 3-5
  • Blue for Plastic & Non-ferrous Metals - Speed 3-6
Blade Sizes

We stock Festool circular saw blades in six diameters.

  • 160 mm Diameter (~6-1/4") - to fit TS 55 EQ, TS 55 REQ, TS 55 FEQ, TSC 55, TSC 55 K, HKC 55 & HK 55 saws. (160 mm blades are available in 2.2 mm kerf and 1.8 mm kerf. See notes below.)
    • 2.2 mm kerf 160 mm blades fit TS 55 EQ, TS 55 REQ & TSC 55 Saws. They cannot be used on saws designed for 1.8 mm kerf blades.
    • 1.8 mm kerf 160 mm blades fit TSC 55 K, TS 55 FEQ, HKC 55 & HK 55 saws. They cannot be used on saws designed for 2.2 mm blades.
  • 168 mm Diameter (~6-5/8") - to fit CSC SYS 50, TS 60 KEB & TSV 60 KEB Saws.
  • 210 mm Diameter (~8-1/4") - to fit TS 75 EQ Track Saws.
  • 216 mm Diameter (~8-1/2") - to fit KSC 60 Kapex Miter Saws
  • 26 mm Diameter (~10-1/4") - to fit KS 120 Kapex Miter Saws
  • 190 mm Diameter (~7-1/4") - to fit AT 65 Track Saws (This is an older model.)

PLEASE NOTE! When selecting a 160 mm blade, please pay close attention to the model number & and kerf required for your saw. 1.8 mm kerf blades WILL NOT work on saws designed for 2.2 mm kerf blades. 
2.2mm kerf blades should not be used on saws designed for 1.8mm kerf blades.
